The String Corner was formed with the idea of making quality instruments and music education available to anyone. We strongly believe that music should be educational, fun and fundamental in a well rounded education.

We love spending time with our customers and students to really understand what it is they want out of music. Whether it is structuring a lesson plan or placing the right instrument in your hands, we strive to provide a service that everyone will enjoy and remember.

Since our inception in 2003, we have helped many young musicians develop and fitted students with instruments that they enjoy.

Company History

The String Corner was founded in 2003 in North Syracuse, New York, by Michael Montero. In the early days, Mr. Montero worked hard to establish a reputation for quality customer service, instrument selection, and teaching. Currently, Michael operates a store and workshop in Camillus.
